RAD Exam Success
Level 4 Ballet students have successfully completed their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Advanced 1 examinations — and with fantastic results.
After months of rigorous training, personal commitment, and artistic growth, each dancer not only passed but did so with excellent marks, reflecting the high standard of ballet education and mentorship at ODCS. The RAD Advanced 1 level is a significant milestone in a dancer’s journey, demanding strong technique, musicality, expressive performance, and a deep understanding of classical ballet vocabulary.
“This is one of the most challenging RAD examinations our students have faced so far,” said Rebecca Middleton.
Preparing for the Advanced 1 exam is no small feat. Students attend multiple technique and pointe classes each week, refine their artistry through coaching and rehearsals, and balance their demanding dance schedules with academic and personal responsibilities. Their success is a reflection not only of their commitment but also the strong support system built by their teachers, families, and peers.
These results place our Level 4 dancers in excellent standing to continue progressing toward the RAD Advanced 2 level and, for some, to pursue professional or pre-professional training opportunities in the future. At ODCS, we are incredibly proud of the excellence these students have achieved—not only in their exams, but in the maturity, grace, and perseverance they show in and out of the studio. Congratulations to all our Level 4 dancers on this exceptional accomplishment. You continue to raise the bar and inspire younger students with your passion and dedication.
