Workshop Weekends
Experience training, choreography, and expertise from a variety of teachers alongside the ODCS Ballet Intensive Program Students.
Introducing… Workshop Weekends! We would like to offer the dancers of Ottawa the opportunity to experience training, choreography and expertise from a variety of teachers, alongside the ODCS Ballet Intensive Program students. To facilitate this, we have created Workshop Weekends. On one Saturday per month, all students who are enrolled in Workshop Weekends will enjoy a full day of dance training that differs from their regular schedule. Each month, a varied set of teachers from a number of dance styles will come to Ottawa Dance Centre School to provide a workshop in their field of expertise. Workshop Weekends are a great opportunity for our students to broaden their knowledge within dance. Open to dancers aged 12+ with at least two years of dance experience.

10:00 – 12:00 — Guest Teacher
12:00 – 13:00 — Lunch
13:00 – 15:00 — Guest Teacher
This schedule is simply an outline and may be subject to change due to specific guest teacher availability and ODCS performance/exam preparations.

Fees
Tuition for the Workshop Weekends may be paid in a lump sum on or before September 5, 2025. Or may be paid in 3 separate instalments. Students who are enrolled in the Ballet Intensive Program attend the Workshop Weekends at no fee.

Workshop Weekends are by acceptance only. We ask that each applicant submits two photographs via email to odcs@ottawadancecentre.ca along with the application form:

Students may apply for Workshop Weekends at any time.
